New Hero Ships USS line

Holds the GPS in place with no problems at all. I even got it to work with my magellan 1470. Grips well and stays in place, even when taking sharp turns.

Hello Capacity of Hi Equivalent

I had a hard time putting this book down, not because it was action packed or particularly fast paced, but because the development, sincerity and engaging voice of the main character at both stages of his life was refreshingly flawless. The voice remains true and believable throughout the entire narrative and is well developed giving me a clear picture of who Jacob Jankowski is and why I should care. Because this is achieved, I am fully invested in his world and experiences. Like wise, the supporting characters are dynamic and interesting, but even given their deformities, whether physical or psychologically, they never over shadow the main character.

The book provokes thoughts on treatment and intelligence of animals, economy, marriage, class, race, healthcare, friendship and family. As well as, it forces us to take a hard look at how our culture deals with the elderly.

“Sometimes the monotony of bingo and sing-alongs and ancient dusty people parked in the hallway in wheelchairs makes me long for death. Particularly when I remember that I’m one of the ancient dusty people, filed away like some worthless tchotchke.”

If I had to give a ‘con’ to the book, it would be toward the ending when the author simplifies Jacob’s journey with a ‘run away with the circus’ solution. However, this does not disappoint and in a way is the logical path and most appropriate ending given the character’s circumstances and alternative. It is the happiest it can get.

Internet 0 4 Cleanup problem!

Without exception, everyone I know who read this book absolutely loved it! I did not. I liked it enough to keep going-something I don’t always do-but I found the last third overdrawn and under-realized. While I loved the concept of the book and the characters, in my opinion, more depth would have made this a better novel . Throughout the book I found myself mentally editing the writing (and the cliches!). The dramatic points were less dramatic than I would have liked and in some cases, like Minny’s big scene in the yard, undeveloped. The scene came out of nowhere and ended too soon, never to be explained or spoken of again. In conclusion, rather than pass The Help on to friends, I’m going to give it to the library. It’s clearly a crowd pleaser and that, in itself, is an accomplishment.

For USB Cable Retractable for you

I picked up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer last year during one of Borders’ Buy 2 get 1 promotion (I know this because the sticker was still on the cover). At the time I knew nothing about the book but I was intrigued by the premise and so picked it up. Since that time this book has become a phenomenon among teens and adults alike (at this posting there were 4500+ copies cataloged on librarything). One of the main reviews on Amazon even calls Twilight “an exquisite fantasy.” On Librarything, Amazon and Barnes & Noble this book was predominately rated at 5 stars. So by the time I got around to reading to this book I was excited thinking that I had a real gem of a tale to sink into.

In fact, Twilight left me stunned…but not in a good way. Not in the “oh my this is one of the best books that I have ever read” sort of stunned. Instead all I kept thinking about was that the main character Bella, who is the narrator of the story, was obsessed. When Bella first moves to Forks, Washington and first encounters the eningmatic and overly beautiful boy Edward Cullen she is intially put off by him….mainly because he has such violent reactions of mood when he is near her. This dislike that Bella has for Edward only lasts a chapter or two before she is drawn to him. He is so handsome after all, how can she not fall for him? Even though initally he is very rude and mean to her. Yet still she yearns for Edward. Then, all too quickly, when Edward starts to loosen up and start to really charm Bella her yearning turns to a deep and all consuming obsession with him. So much so that it isn’t long before she wants to spend every waking moment with him…..and that anytime apart is pure agony.

Overall, this book scares me. This is a book that many young teen girls are picking up and devouring and thinking that its a true love story. That Bella and Edward are as star-crossed as Romeo and Juliet. That their relationship is something to look up to…..to emulate. When in fact its far from

I love Eye 2 Eye See

I had this vacuum cleaner for a few months before I realized it was doing an absoluttely horrible job. I went to vacuum some kitty litter up on the hardwood floor, and I happened to be bare footed, I felt a TON of kitty litter come shooting out the back side of the vacuum and it was pelting me in the legs…during the winter I hadn’t noticed it was doing this because I had been wearing long pants and never felt the dirt, etc…come flying out the back hitting my legs! So…you might *think* it is vacuuming up the dirt, because the floor looks clean, until you realize that it has scattered the dirt everywhere out the back of the vacuum. This vacuum is useless for me with mostly hardwood floors…it works great on carpet, but forget hardwood. Same thing just happened with trying to vacuum up the Christmas tree needles…it threw them out the back of the vacuum–all over the place. I had to resort to using the hose to pick up the needles! After only owning this for 9 months, I’m giving up and getting something else.

Wanna ESP All 7 Kodak

This printer literally is less than $200.00. Why this seller is trying to gouge the public and charge more than 2.5 times the going rate is beyond me unless they are just criminals. Let the buyer beware!!!

SLD SS RR ROTOR the best

I have been using Microsoft Word since 1992 and that’s part of the problem. Over the years, the upgrades enhanced its performance but the look and feel of the program stayed recognizable and the changes were easy to follow and use. But goodness, the learning curve to this upgrade, Word 2007, is killing me. No longer do I have the familiar “File – Edit – Insert, etc” pull-down menus. No more toolbars. I find I have to relearn EVERYTHING to prepare a document, including the vocabulary of all the familiar Word functions. It has been a couple months since I upgraded and and I still find myself surfing the Internet to find out how to do things that used to be intuitive. (Surfing the ‘net because the “Help” pull-down is no longer.)

The REASON for my rating is the learning curve and not what Word 2007 can do. I am getting to the point where I’m starting to get why the reorganization. I would even concede that some months from now I might give a higher ranking. But for now, I’m weary.

I don’t have any issue with this product. I have a Dell laptop which I bought just 2 years ago which has dual processor and I use this with my Cannon AS650 camera which also a late release of 2007 product plus the Creative Zen player also late 2007 release. Everything works well with these products I have and read write in great speed, I can’t tell how much faster can one expects but it seems perfect for me. I have this for over a year now with no issues at all and I use it with my camera and laptop many times a week.
