I understand some of the criticism, but does a book have to be a literary masterpiece to be immensely enjoyable? The overwhelming positive reviews explain why not.

It is well researched, but maybe the plot stretched a bit too far at times and low quality dialogues have taken away from the book’s otherwise star quality.

The depression era was well represented, gave a good realistic feel of the troubled times and the people. Circus setting was pure genius, and made it so interesting.

Overall, it is a very enjoyable book, very readable.

I have a Beagle that sheds enough fur to make another dog in 2-3 days. I started using this brush and after a week of use, WOW what a difference. This thing really works and my dog really likes it too as it has cut down how many times he has to vacuum. He really hates the noise.

The Defender is a great product and offers a much higher level of protection than any other case I’ve seen, but it’s not foolproof. I have probably dropped my iphone about 20 times since got it in Nov. However, on Christmas eve I had it laying in my lap and stood up. My iphone dropped to the tile floor and when I picked it up the LCD screen was white with blue and red lines running the length of the screen on the right side. I took it to a repair shop and had to have the screen replaced. I too have the oil slick issue but its not a big deal to me. The biggest problem is the reason that I have dropped it so much is that every time I have it in the belt clip and happen to bump the belt clip even with my arm or hand the phone will fall out of the clip. Since the screen replacement and the belt clip issue I just carry it in my pocket. I work construction and have pretty much ruined or broken every phone I’ve had, but thought that this case would maybe help this one survive. Sorry folks but the jury is still out.

God bless the confused and misled! If you want to hear from God, try praying and read the Word that He gave us. If you don’t believe in the validity of the Bible then what makes this man or any other man right???? You have questions for God but first you must ask yourself what you believe in and what you want you faith to rest on. God does not intend to make us feel good about everything we do or want. He wants us to conform to Him but this man is conforming God to what he wants Him to be. Beware of false prophets!

This scale is beautifully designed (looks nice in the bathroom) and works exactly as promised. The company even includes batteries, so you can use it straight out of the box. Set it on a hard surface, step on, and let it calibrate. After it has calibrated, the readings are consistent. The construction feels sturdy, and the numbers are easy to see. It is also nice that it turns on and off automatically. I would buy this product again, especially considering the great price… I suspect I won’t be in the market for a new scale for quite some time though.

I really liked my Kindle but now hate what I’m going through. I packed my kindle in my carry on bag for a short flight; pulled it out and had a black screen. I went through all the reboots and resets and still ended up with a black screen (3/4 filled with black lines). I looked on line and saw that many people had this problem and it was associated with a poor design for the cover which did not protect the Kindle. The kindle screen “cracked” under simple pressure. I’m not sure what happened in my carry on bag but it sure put an end to my Kindle. I tried to call tech support and he told me that for $50 dollars I could get a new one and then changed his mind and told me $100! I wish Amazon would stand behind it’s product. I see, online, that they replaced alot of screens because of a law suit but I guess I didn’t get in on that.
Be carefull about buying the product; it’s very costly to repair and it seems to have alot of problems.
I would have replaced it for $50 but when it “magically” doubled to $100 I had to think twice. I think I’ll get a nook or sony.
