Book Review of Artemis Fowl, by Eion Calfer

GREAT! (4 stars)
Artemis Fowl is an action packed suspenseful book. The action is constantly shifting and keeps you on your toes. You would think one thing was going to happen and it would then totally change to something else happening. The main character is Artemis Fowl, an eleven-year-old kid who’s a criminal mastermind and he has the highest IQ in Europe and he’s a millionaire. Other characters are his bodyguard Butler, and Holly Short, A LepRecon Captain. If you’re wondering, yes–she is a fairy. Artemis Fowl is an evil, greedy, selfish character. ” I don’t care if I put the world in grave danger, the world isn’t me, and I will be rich.”

Butler is a highly trained warrior-bodyguard for Artemis. “Very well captain the beast shall live another day. Luckily for him I’m in a good mood. Holly is the first girl LepRecon recruit. LepRecon is a swat, CIA, Special Forces team, for the Fairy’s. Artemis fowl is a book about Artemis Fowl who wants to steal some of the Fairy’s massive amounts of gold. This book is SCIFI realistic fiction book. Most of the time this book is set in Ireland but many other places too. A book I have read like this one is the young bond book. Its like the fowl books because it has lots hi-tech gadgets just like Artemis fowl books. And lots of the same suspense, life or death kind of suspense. But by far I think the Artemis fowl books are much better and that Eion Colfer made a great book worth reading.

Wow, it’s been four years since it’s release and its still sold out! I called 3 town looking for one and decided to take my chances online, and oh boy am I glad I did! The overnight shipping rate was cheaper than sales tax in the store! I got my Wii today delivered to my door. This is an excellent replacement for the windshield mount.
I do not see the GPS fallen on the floor of the car every morning in summer and Winter.
My suction cup would just not hold on any day with extreme weather.
I got the idea of buying this because my Avis rental had one of these.
And it is a good replacement. It fits right on my dashboard.

I could not finish reading this first book. If I finished it I would have lost too much. I would have ended up loving a vampire and looking at him in a strange way. Nah, couldn’t do it. However, this author is nothing compared to J.K. Rowling. Stephanie doesn’t have the element of surprise and sense that J.K. Rowling have in her books. Meyer only knows about disturbing irrational love. I know twilight fans will hate me after this, but I really don’t care. I got Harry Potter fans having my back. And they are a lot more.
Social Priorities of Civil

I called the Dish Network, and told them the problem I have with the picture on my 52 inch Panasonic LCD projection TV, very poor and a strong watercolor effect. After guiding me through all kind of fixes and nothing worked, they suggested I would buy an HDMI cable. I installed the cable and did not make any difference. I still have the same poor picture, so bad that when someone is moving the head from left to right a bit faster, the nose and mouth disappears ….. and the hair is like a cloud of cotton. Just as before the HTMI cable, the text, logos and any graphic, are all very clear and crisp, except for the people, landscape, background, etc.
So, I really don’t understand what the HDMI cable is for, for me did not do anything.
This is reason I am giving it only 2 stars, this has nothing to do with the seller or the quality of the cable, unless the cable is defective and I have no way of knowing it. The price is more then excellent, you couldn’t ask for a better price, ONLY $ 2.20 INCLUDING shipping !! …. and it came in few days. My cousin paid over $ 80.00.
You would think that there MUST be a huge difference in quality, but the tech people from Dish Network and based on all the reviews I read online, says that there is not difference whatsoever, that HDMI cables ARE ALL THE SAME. Now, you be the judge. I am not a tech geek and I can only go by what they say.
The Spirit Of Country

Kathryn Stockett has a terrific story to tell. It’s about black domestics in racist Jackson, MS on the eve of Civil Rights, and it’s a barn-burner. You’ll bruise your fingers turning the pages, and that’s no joke. If she happens to tell her story without using much subtlety, sometimes knocking you back a bit with her wordy sledgehammer, then that’s just the price you have to pay to go on this ride, because the ride is worth it. It’s going to make a great (or awful) movie, undoubtedly Oscar nods all around, but read it while it’s still just a book, because they’re gonna cut a lot of the good stuff out; only the sledgehammer stuff is going to make it into your local cinema. I avoided this one, but I’m so glad it kept insisting to be read – sometimes the popular book are popular for a reason.
Hey Boy I Know

Like several others, I purchased this vacuum after reading all the positive reviews. For the most part, I agree with them. This is a fantastic vacuum cleaner that’s a superior value. Unfortunately, the unit I purchased broke down after 20 months. I’m tempted to buy another one since it worked so well for those 20 months and the price is still a relative steal. That said, I will be mindful of the durability. While there’s only so much you can expect for less than $70, I was hoping that my product would last at least three years.

Bottom line: brilliant when it worked and a tremendous value, but I worry about the durability.
