No more .. Part 1 Drenched Soaking

Fascinating and riveting novel, chockerblock full of vivid historical detail about life in a second rate traveling circus during the depression in the United States. It was a real glimpse of Americana because of the author’s meticulous research. All the elements of a great read: love, desire, action, humor, murder, and a totally surprising and superb ending. The true heroine is a wonderful elephant named Rosie.

I love SBK 8101 Part# LeoVince

I read hundreds of reviews, called the company, and spoke with another woman who works outdoors, so I heard all of the pros & cons before I made my decision. I bought this particular Otterbox style because I know that my phone will be exposed to dust and rain, and I need the protection that the Defender case provides. The case is thick, which takes away from the shiny, sleek look of the iPhone, but I dropped my phone 4 feet onto concrete a few days after I got the case, and it was completely undamaged. And if you’re trying to gather husky hair, this is the case for you! My case is black – too boring – but white husky hair shows up perfectly well! Get one of the colored cases – even though they are ugly – you can more easily find it at the bottom of a bag. There are other Otterbox cases to choose from, and the company’s website is extremely useful in helping you sort out whether you need the level of protection that the Defender case provides. You’ll also learn how to properly attach the 2-part Defender to your phone.

I’m sure that this vacuum is indeed the best choice in the $100 or less price range. It does a very good job of cleaning carpet–as good as our old Kenmore Progressive upright vacuum which was $250 or so about 8 years ago–and has a powerful 12 amp motor. It’s inexpensive, and it cleans carpet well.

Yes. This is all true.

However . . . this thing feels CHEAP. I understand that an under a $100 vacuum is not going to be built to the same standards as one two or three times as expensive . . . but . . . I still expect it to be a well designed product no matter what the price. This vacuum is not. The dust bag cover fits poorly and has–I kid you not–a full quarter inch of play between it and the mating surface. When the suction is on, air pressure will push the seal against the mating flange, yes, but when the vacuum is off . . . well, it’s just not sealed. And also this dust bag cover DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTUAL LATCH. You latch it by flexing the whole cover downward enough that the catch clears the top notch in the body that secures it.

Next in the list of poorly designed items comes the back cord windup. It looks and feels like an after thought. There is a top and a bottom “L” bracket around which you wind the cord, but the vacuum hose is right there in between, which forces the cord winding coil to be bulged out and to feel insecure. Don’t get me wrong. It does work. Or it would have if my unit hadn’t been defective, that is (more on this in a second). But even though it works, it’s the sort of thing that would annoy me every single time I used the vacuum. And, in my case, the “C” shaped rubber clip at the base of the plug (molded into it) had so small a channel that there WAS NO WAY that it would actually grab one of the earlier winding loops of the cord so that the whole coiling would remain secure and in place! And, on top of that, the “guide hook” at the top “L” bracket which is supposed to hold the cord in place in a convenient location while yo
