Line Pro KitchenAid Series suck

I was very excited to buy this grinder. I fancy myself a coffee afficianado. I have been getting my coffee ground at Starbucks for the last few years since my last grinder broke. This worked great except I had it ground for my drip coffeemaker. So, when I wanted to use my french press the grind was too fine. I was anticipating being able to vary the grind size so I could use both the press and the drip coffeemaker.

First the good news. It is very impressive looking. When I took it out of the box I was excited to put it on the counter. Its big, heavy, and very “industrial” looking. All the hype about the glass container eliminating static cling is very true. No issues with the ground coffee sticking. And, unlike some other users, I have no issues with grinds spilling. I do have issues with the beans not always feeding automatically into the grinder. But, I just stir them a little with the back of a wooden spoon, and they feed with no problem. I could live with this. This isn’t really an issue.

The bad news is the quality of the grind. The grind is very inconsistent. Looking at the results of a single grind you can see large variations in the grind size. Additionally, and this is the big problem, it cannot produce a fine grind. Even at the finest setting, the consistency of the grind is what I want for my french press, not what I want for my drip coffeemaker. The result is weak tasting coffee from my drip coffeemaker. I tried to adjust the burrs by disassembling the unit as recommended by KitchenAid. But, the unit was already set at the the maximum end of the range from the factory. It couldn’t be improved by adjustment (or by cleaning).

I called Kitchen Aid and, to their credit, they were very helpful. They offered to exchange the grinder without me even suggesting it. Sounds great, right? Well, after offering to exchange it, they discovered it was back ordered. They thought it would be a couple weeks. I thought this was reasonable.

Details about 7000 Nexus Series Cisco

What an awful book. Written in 1951, this book originally sparked great controversy with its mature themes focusing on the teenage angst, loneliness and rebellion of the protagonist Holden Caulfield. I guess its like a really bad version of James Dean’s classic Rebel Without a Cause. Caulfield is the archetype of an underachiever. Today kids are reading about the latest sluggard – Greg Heffley from The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The characters Greg and Holden have a lot in common.

Catcher in the Rye follows the life of Holden Caulfield for a few days after being expelled from Pencey prep school as he returns home to New York City and contemplates life. Although, Caulfield does little contemplation and spends most of his time whining and complaining about everyone and everything. He sees the negative in everything (except his little sister) and makes one bad and offensive decision after another for almost 300 pages of misery. The only value I can find in reading this book today is to use Holden Caulfield as an example of what NOT to be – lazy, negative, and uninspired. Unfortunately the latest version of Holden Caulfield appears to be as popular with readers today as Catcher in the Rye was fifty years ago. When are we going to wake up and stop celebrating negative characters like Holden and Greg?

II KitchenAid Architect Series Final

This is an excellent product. Very sturdy and well constructed. Much easier to use than the suction mount that came with my GPS.

It holds the unit very securely. It never slips or moves even during aggresive driving conditions. It is easy to adjust the position of the unit so that it doesn’t interfere with my view through the windshield, which always occurs with the suction mount, but is still very easy to see.

The mount makes it totally simple to install, remove, and move the unit from one vehicle to another. It’s so quick and easy that I even put the unit in the glove box if I’m just going in to pay for gas or eat a fast-food meal. It doesn’t leave tell-tale marks on the windshield which can alert car thieves to the fact that you have a portable GPS. This is a must have accessory for your Garmin GPS. Get one!

Well, one of my friends gave me this book and told me that it was the best book she had read. So I decided to give it a try too. Actually, this book like everything else has pros and cons. The idea about a vampire romance was truly genius and very unique. But I feel that the story wasnt written to its full potential. Also another good thing was that Edward Cullen the main hero was a really storng character. But I think that the book was too long and even though I have read longer books some parts really seemed like repetitions of other parts and useless conversations that were just there to make the book look fat. I think a story as good as this could have been written in a much better way. The parts about shopping and other girly stuff could have been easily cut out or edited. Some scenes were unnecessary but well, this is Stephanie Meyer’s first book and since at least the basic idea was good, I will not be too harsh. Even so, this is definately better than most of its sequels. Just that I felt it could have been put in a better way.

Thomastik Infeld Red Series no mad

I love to read. At any given time I have 10 books going on a number of different topics. This has always created aproblem as all my books would be scattered all over the house. Also there are books I want to read but not own. I just can’t keep all the books. This probled led to reading less. The Kindle solved all that and more.
DIctianry feater is excellent. Sample feature is excellent.

Downside.

Now that I want to read more books are too expensive. Books are easy to get instantly. You can easily spend $$ before you know it, but hey thats my problem not kindle’s!
Need more magazines and newspaer subscriptions. I would love to have my local paper.

Worth the price.

High 1 Series Vivitar ok or not

This steam vac has spin brushes and the spray and vacuum with rug shampoo. It did a great job on my cream carpets.I purchased a much more expensive steam vac without the spin scrub feature and it did not do nearly as good a job. This was a great value for me. It was inexpensive to buy, worked great. This also has upholstery attachment.
Haven’t tried that yet. I rate this a winner.
